1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using KidPro, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. A person accepting these terms for a school confirms that they are authorized to act for that school.
2. The service
KidPro provides tools for preschool administration, learning activities, attendance, digital child portfolios, milestones, media, parent access and related communication. Features may evolve as the service is improved.
3. School responsibilities
- Provide accurate account information and maintain authorized access.
- Obtain any consent required to collect, upload, share or publish child information.
- Use child and parent information only for legitimate educational and school purposes.
- Ensure uploaded content is lawful and that the school has permission to use it.
- Promptly remove access for staff or parents who should no longer have it.
4. Accounts and security
Users must protect their login details and notify KidPro or their school if they suspect unauthorized access. Schools are responsible for activity performed through accounts they manage.
5. Parent access
Parent access is created and controlled by the school. Parents may view only children linked to their account and must not attempt to access another child’s records.
6. Google Drive integration
Connecting Google Drive is optional and must be authorized by a school administrator. KidPro uses the connection to manage files created or used through KidPro. Schools may disconnect the integration at any time. Existing files remain in the school’s Google Drive unless the school deletes them.
7. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the service, bypass access restrictions, upload harmful or unlawful material, disrupt the platform, probe for vulnerabilities, or use KidPro in a way that violates another person’s rights.
8. Subscription and payment
Paid plans, limits, billing periods and applicable taxes are shown when a school subscribes. Unless otherwise stated, fees cover the selected subscription period. A trial may be limited or changed before a paid subscription begins.
9. Content and ownership
Schools and users retain their rights in content they provide. They grant KidPro the limited permission needed to host, process, display and transmit that content solely to operate and support the service.
10. Availability and changes
We work to keep KidPro available and reliable, but uninterrupted operation is not guaranteed. Maintenance, security events, internet failures or third-party services may affect availability.
11. Suspension and termination
Access may be suspended for non-payment, security risk, unlawful use or material violation of these terms. Schools may stop using KidPro and request account closure by contacting us.
12. Disclaimers and liability
KidPro is a support platform for school operations and does not replace professional educational, medical, legal or safeguarding judgment. To the extent permitted by law, KidPro is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as KidPro changes. Continued use after updated terms take effect indicates acceptance of the revised terms.
